A self-running order pipeline for a distribution company

Based on projects we've delivered. Figures are approximate; client names are withheld for privacy.

The problem

Every order went through three people: one logged it, one issued the invoice, one arranged delivery. One small mistake could cost us a full day.

Before and after

Before

Manual entry into three systems.

After

One entry, the rest happens on its own.

What we built

  1. 1

Collects orders from the website, WhatsApp and email in one place.

  2. 2

Issues the quote and invoice and matches them against stock automatically.

  3. 3

Sends the order to the delivery team and retries on its own if any system fails — no order is lost.

Orders from every channel run through one pipeline: quote, invoice, accounting and delivery, with automatic retries.
